Description
Two sterling silver-backed clothes brushes, each stamped STERLING on the rim. One is an oval brush with engraved neoclassical anthemion, lattice and floral garland decoration around a monogram cartouche, marked with boxed maker's initials and the number 5302; the other is a rectangular brush with repoussé rose and C-scroll decoration and an engraved script monogram. Both retain their bristles. Total weight 281 g of mixed material (silver backs with brush bodies and bristles).
