Description
Sterling silver hand mirror by R. Wallace & Sons of Wallingford, Connecticut, marked R.W.&S. STERLING 96-2, with a rectangular beveled glass mirror in a stepped, canted-corner frame and a matching paneled handle. The back is engraved with a monogram inside a crested oval cartouche. Total weight 374 g for the whole mirror, mixed material including the sterling frame, glass and backing. The mirror glass is heavily scratched and the handle shows wear to the silver.
