Description
Two sterling silver-backed brushes. A Gorham clothes brush with a repoussé back of roses and C-scrolls around a central cartouche, marked with the Gorham lion, anchor and G and STERLING. An R. Wallace & Sons hair brush with a paneled handle and an engraved monogram in a crested cartouche, marked R.W.&S. STERLING 96-2, its bristles set in a wood base. Total weight 284 g for both brushes, mixed material including the bristles and wood.
