Description
Sterling silver hand mirror by R. Blackinton & Co. of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, marked STERLING with the R, sword-pierced B and CO mark and numbered 6300, fitted with a beveled glass mirror. The back and handle are engraved with anthemion palmettes, floral garlands and strapwork around a central script monogram. Total weight 357 g for the whole mirror, mixed material including the glass. The mirror glass has heavy scratches and spotting to the silvering.
