Description
Sanborns Mexico City sterling silver two-handled serving tray, stamped with the Sanborns owl mark and STERLING, with a listed total tray weight of approximately 5.4 lb (2,450 grams). This is the weight of the complete tray, not a verified weight of silver content. Repoussé roses and leaves fill chased panels at the sides and corners of the lobed rim, and roses top the scrolled end handles. Light scratching to the well.
