Description
Carved wood relief wall plaque of a sun, the oval face with brows sweeping down into the nose above a small diamond-shaped mouth, ringed by sixteen dished teardrop rays. Dark stained over a textured raised grain, so the growth rings run like contour lines across the carving. Marked at the lower left corner with a carved mushroom-shaped symbol. Wear to the finish, with pale nicks and small checks along the grain.
