The sterling weighs 4.70 lb (it was listed as 4.8 lb before). PART 1: STERLING SILVER (the wood flatware chest is included) Solid sterling: 21 dinner forks and 8 salad forks (some have raised flower designs and engraved initials) 28 spoons 5 butter knives 2 serving spoons, 1 serving fork, 1 small ladle, 1 small fork, 1 small pronged serving piece 3 salt and pepper shakers 2 napkin rings, one engraved with a name Sterling handles only (blades and fork tines are steel): 12 table knives S. Kirk & Son Repoussé carving set (knife and fork) with raised flower handles 1 carving knife Weight: The solid sterling pieces weigh 4.70 lb (about 2,132 g) on a scale. This is the weight of the pieces, not the amount of pure silver. Sterling is 92.5% silver, and shakers can contain non-silver parts. The knives and carving pieces were not weighed, because their handles are hollow and filled. PART 2: BONUS, included with the lot. These items are NOT sterling.
