Description
Harmony Kingdom "Ganesa's Parade," carved by David Lawrence in 1997 and released in 2003 as a Special Editions event piece in an edition of 1,000. A parade of elephants with raised trunks and a calf at their feet, topped by a palm with coconut-throwing monkeys; inside, a pile of tusks is labeled "Not for sale." Paired with "Sunnyside Up," Peter Calvesbert's large hedgehog box, carved in 1991 and retired in 2001: a sleeping hedgehog rolled onto its back in its spiny coat. Both made in England. Includes two green Harmony Kingdom cartons, one lid labeled for Ganesa's Parade. One carton has a small tear at the rim.
