Description
Wheel-thrown stoneware canister with its knobbed lid, glazed matte blue with a green and tan band below incised rings near the top. The front has an impressed heart, the red-brown clay rim is left bare, and the inside is glazed deep blue. The rim is cracked in several places, with the cracks running down into the wall, and one side has scattered small glaze pits.
