Description
Korean black lacquer stand inlaid in mother-of-pearl (najeon) with a pair of phoenixes among clouds across the shaped apron and floral corner sprays within a key-fret border on the top. Raised on four cabriole legs joined by a lower shelf. The underside is hand-lettered in gold with a Christmas dedication to Mr. Stradley from Choi Young Whi of Shin-Kwang Girls' High School in Seoul. The finish is chipped in some spots, and the top is a little scuffed.
