Description
Mt. Washington opal glass biscuit jar, hand-painted with pink blossoms and green leaves on a satin ground shading from pale yellow to blue. Silver-plate collar, bail handle and lid; the lid is engraved "Nov 30th 1898" on one side and a three-letter script monogram on the other. The base is painted in red with shape number 3926 over decoration number 824. The plating is tarnished, with a worn spot on the bail handle.
