Description
Hand-thrown studio pottery plates decorated in sgraffito, the tan rims carved through dark slip with pelicans, lobsters, whales, dolphins, octopus, starfish, scallop shells and fish, including ichthys fish lettered in Greek. Matte slate-green centers and edges, each band framed by rope-twist and scroll borders. One plate is signed and incised "Malibu" on the base.
