Description
Hand-carved folk art wood spirit of an old man with an open mouth and long flowing beard, cut in relief into a weathered branch. The face and beard show bare wood under a glossy finish against the dark gray surface, and the beard wraps around both sides. Initialed in marker on the base. The wood has natural checks, one running through the forehead and beard, and a knot in the beard.
