Description
A 29-record vinyl collection spanning the 1960s and 1970s, with strong crossover appeal between rock collectors and vintage soundtrack fans. Highlights visible in the photos include Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery with its iconic H.R. Giger cover art, Blue Cheer's New! Improved! , and Mountain's Flowers of Evil — a solid run of heavy and progressive rock from the era. Stevie Wonder's Music of My Mind brings soul into the mix, alongside The Ventures' The Ventures in Space , a surf-instrumental classic. The lot also carries a nice vein of vintage easy listening and soundtrack material: Frank Sinatra's Sinatra '65 , Al Caiola's Hit Instrumentals from Western TV Themes (Bonanza, Rawhide, Maverick and more), Neil Diamond's Jonathan Livingston Seagull , and the original motion picture soundtrack to Irwin Allen's The Swarm , scored by Jerry Goldsmith. Rounding things out are a Mormon Tabernacle Choir set , a spoken-word Exploring the Unknown , and additional psychedelic and classic rock titles pictured.
