Description
Nippon porcelain teapot with lid, hand-painted in the Geisha Girl pattern. One side has a teahouse scene under wisteria and hanging lanterns; the other has a snow landscape with a blossoming plum tree. Marked on the base with a green crown stamp reading "HAND PAINTED" and "NIPPON". That export marking dates it between 1891 and 1921.
