Description
Wheel-thrown salt glazed stoneware jug in the American blue-decorated tradition, with an ovoid body, short collared neck and a single applied strap handle. A cobalt bird perches on a branch beneath a feathered plume, brushed freehand over the speckled gray-tan body. Throwing rings visible on the shoulder.
