Description
Group of eight elephant figurines. Two are Indian undercut (jali) carvings, the pierced lattice bodies each enclosing a loose calf carved in place through the openings, and one is a carved wood Ganesha seated on a lotus base mounted to felt. The group also includes a larger plain carved wood elephant with the head lowered, a black resin elephant and two calves on a molded rock base, and three glazed porcelain miniatures.
