Hand-hooked wool wall hanging after a human-headed Profile Attendant from the Gate of the Sun at Tiwanaku, Bolivia: a running figure in a stepped headdress of animal heads, holding a condor-headed staff, between meander bands. Loop pile worked into a woven ground, canvas-bound edges, and a sewn sleeve across the top for a hanging rod. Unmarked.
