Description
Talavera-style tin-glazed earthenware pitcher on a stepped pedestal foot, hand-painted in the five-color large-fire palette of manganese, yellow, ochre, cobalt and copper green, with green cross-hatched reserves between yellow and cobalt bands. The applied rope-twist handle, coiled tendrils and molded mask are traditional Talavera and Puente del Arzobispo appliques.
