Description
Hand-built studio raku bowl with a pinched freeform rim on a slab-built base with four cross feet. The interior is a white crackle glaze with carbon-darkened crazing; the exterior has copper flashing in red, orange, and green over a smoke-blackened ground, with a glossy mauve copper glaze on the underside. Incised with an indistinct maker's mark on the base. Raku is low-fired and porous and does not hold liquid.
