Description
Ken Engelhardt "Royal Street" print on watercolor-textured paper, mounted on a salvaged New Orleans roofing slate with a leather cord hanger. Signed in the print "K. Engelhardt 87" over "NEW ORLEANS." A ribbon label on the front reads "Vieux Carre'" and "Roofing slate about 175 years old." Two printed labels on the back, from Archie's Sketches of Metairie, Louisiana, give the artist's biography and the slate's history.
