Description
Wheel-thrown unglazed red earthenware jug with a single loop handle drawn from below the collared rim to the shoulder and a flat cut base. Two bands of multi-toothed comb-incised wavy lines run around the neck and shoulder. Interior is soot-blackened from use over fire. Calcareous encrustation adheres over much of the exterior. Levantine Byzantine-style. Unmarked.
