Description
Original expressionist oil by Jose Trujillo, depicting a perched songbird against a gestural, multicolored ground. Worked in opaque, broadly brushed paint on a stretched canvas, signed at the lower right; the verso inscribed in pencil "The Songbird" with a signature and "Jose Trujillo - Artist" to the lower stretcher rail.
