Description
Two traditional Chinese sand clay cooking pots (shaguo): a larger lidded vessel with a tubular side handle, and a smaller, shallower open pot with two applied lug handles. Each is wheel-formed in a buff, coarse unglazed sandy stoneware body with a dark brown to black glazed interior, and each retains a twisted-wire reinforcement cage around the exterior.
