Description
Oil on canvas depicting a Parisian street scene at dusk, with a stone arch bridge over the Seine, the Eiffel Tower in the distance, a riverside flower market, gas street lamps, and figures with a period automobile. Worked in heavy impasto in a palette-knife manner, signed in red cursive at lower center "K. Frank," and set in an ornate giltwood and composition swept frame with foliate corner cartouches.
