Description
Oil on canvas depicting a Parisian street scene at dusk, with a multi-arch stone bridge over the Seine, the Eiffel Tower in the distance, Haussmann-style buildings, a sidewalk flower market, and figures on wet reflective pavement. Worked in thick impasto in the decorative post-Impressionist manner, signed in red at lower center "R. Frank," and set in an ornate gilt composition frame with corner cartouches.
