Description
20th-century oil on canvas depicting a Paris boulevard flower market, with umbrella-carrying figures, a horse-drawn carriage, and Haussmann-style facades beneath a warm sunset sky. Worked in heavy palette-knife impasto in the School of Paris decorative manner associated with Edouard Cortes and Antoine Blanchard, and housed in a carved giltwood frame with foliate corner ornaments.
