Description
Standing hen figurine on twisted iron-rod legs with splayed feet, the hollow stoneware body covered in a mottled reactive drip glaze of olive-green, cream, brown, and aubergine, with a glossy comb and wattle and an unglazed beak. Round apertures pierce the body and a large oval opening is cut into the underside for use as a candle or votive holder.
