Description
Oval safari bowl hand-carved in the Akamba (Kamba) tradition of Kenya from a single piece of hardwood. The rim is mounted with three-dimensional savanna figures including an elephant with inset light-colored tusks, a giraffe, and other quadrupeds, while the exterior bears wood-burned and painted panels imitating giraffe, leopard, and zebra hide.
