Description
Hand-carved hardwood wall plaque of elongated openwork form, fitted with a leather thong loop for hanging. One terminal is carved in relief as a stylized elephant head with ring-incised trunk and tusk, while the central body shows vertical bands of cut-through openwork depicting stylized elephants and antelope divided by diamond-lattice crosshatching, ending in a carved floral rosette.
