Description
Louis XV style fauteuil, the carved hardwood frame finished in glossy ebonized black lacquer, the cartouche-shaped back fitted with a double-caned panel below an arched crest rail centered by a carved foliate cartouche. Open padded arms rest on scrolled supports above a serpentine seat rail with carved foliate knees, raised on cabriole legs, with a loose cushion and arm pads upholstered in cream herringbone-weave fabric.
