Description
Four Portuguese porcelain dishes modeled as fluted scallop shells, each with a small tab handle and a single playing-card suit, forming a complete bridge set. The shell-form bowls are fully gilded, the white-glazed handles with burgundy borders and hand-painted suit symbols, club and spade in black, diamond and heart in red. The undersides bear an impressed blue "MADE IN PORTUGAL" stamp and a faint green circular mark with "PORTUGAL" below.
