Description
Oval earthenware serving platter in the "Fish" pattern by Johnson Brothers, Staffordshire, England, circa 1955 to 1976. The cream ground is transfer-printed and hand-tinted in polychrome with an underwater scene of game fish, a lobster, and branching seaweed, the underside carrying the printed fish-form backstamp "FISH / MADE IN ENGLAND BY / JOHNSON BROS."
