Description
Three-piece English Victorian porcelain dessert service, third quarter of the nineteenth century, comprising a pair of tall comports on paired C-scroll supports and one matching low comport (tazza). Each has a rose-pink ground border and a moulded gadroon rim enamelled with raised turquoise "jewels" over gilding, white pearl beading, and a hand-painted botanical spray, with a gilt Prince of Wales's feathers device in a pearl-bordered oval reserve at each rim.
