Description
Lighted ceramic architectural model of Old Mission Santa Barbara, the first issue in the California Mission Series, produced in 1997 by Midwest of Cannon Falls exclusively for Mervyn's. The hollow body depicts the mission's twin domed bell towers, columned pediment facade, red tile roof, and palm trees, with pierced windows and a cord-and-socket fitting for internal illumination. The underside is printed "FIRST IN THE CALIFORNIA MISSION SERIES / 1997 / SANTA BARBARA / FOUNDED DECEMBER 4, 1786 / DEVELOPED EXCLUSIVELY FOR MERVYN'S / BY MIDWEST OF CANNON FALLS."
