Description
Carved giltwood wall bracket, or corbel shelf, in the Italian Florentine manner. Built over a gesso ground with red bole and gold-leaf finish, it combines a small shelf platform above a pierced X-lattice frieze, a turned acorn-and-flame finial, and a fluted scrolled body of cyma profile.
