Description
19th-century embossed brass powder flask of the military "stand of flags and arms" pattern, for muzzle-loading firearms. The sheet-brass body is embossed on both faces with a panoply of arms, including a field cannon, drum, stacked shot, and crossed sabers and banners. The brass top has an adjustable graduated charger spout with thumb-piece spring cut-off and side rings for a cord, with a separate brass charger measure included.
