Description
Original expressionist oil on stretched cotton canvas depicting an abstracted animal subject worked in heavy impasto against blocked passages of pink, lavender, blue, teal, and green. Built up in gestural brush and palette-knife strokes, the paint continues over the side edges. The reverse is inscribed "Finch" in black marker and bears an illegible cursive signature.
