Description
Cobalt blue glass jardiniere in the Louis XVI Neoclassical taste, the lobed melon-ribbed body with a cut sawtooth rim above an etched band of stylized arcading. The gilt-metal mounts comprise a pierced openwork palmette gallery with beaded edge and an applied floral garland swag issuing from a flower-basket motif, all on a rectangular base raised on four scrolled foliate feet.
