Description
Three-piece carving set in the "Cavendish" line by George Butler & Co, Sheffield, comprising a carving knife, two-tine carving fork, and sharpening steel, with simulated-bone cellulose handles and stainless blades. The steel collar is stamped "CAVENDISH" and the knife blade bears a circular Sheffield maker's roundel. Early to mid twentieth century, in a fitted case.
