Description
Japanese iron furin in the Nanbu-tekki tradition, suspending a banded temple-bell form set with raised bosses within a crescent-moon plate finished in a dark patina. It retains a braided purple cord with two paper tanzaku strips, one printed "風鈴" and the other hand-brushed with a tanka of Ishikawa Takuboku, reading "北上" (Kitakami) and signed "啄木" (Takuboku).
