Description
A vintage metal novelty desk clock designed in the shape of an antique candlestick telephone. It cleverly incorporates a classic round mechanical clock face where the traditional telephone microphone transmitter would normally be placed. Modeled accurately after a late 19th to early 20th-century candlestick telephone (also known as an upright or desk stand telephone). Features a heavy circular metal base, an upright pillar, and a side-mounted switch hook holding a detachable receiver piece mimicking the classic phone earpiece. Houses a traditional analog dial with prominent Arabic hour markers, distinct hands, and a smaller text indicator near the 12 o'clock mark (typically indicating an "8 Days" movement design for winding).
