Description
Rectangular hinged hardwood box with applied brass mounts and an iron carrying handle on one end. The lid is decorated with brass appliqués in graduated shapes — a central shield-form cartouche flanked by circular discs, diamond lozenges, and fan-shaped corner plates — while brass strap bindings reinforce the sides and base, framing a brass escutcheon and keyhole at the front.
