Description
Covered ginger jar in Chinese cloisonné enamel, decorated with pink, purple, red, and yellow peony blossoms among turquoise foliage on a black ground. Brass-capped lid with pointed finial, lotus-band borders at the shoulder and foot, turquoise enamel underside, and a pierced hardwood display stand. Marked with a gold foil "MADE IN CHINA" label to the base.
