Description
Hinged hardwood box with brass corner reinforcements, side carry handle, and a shaped brass lock hasp. The lid is carved with a circular medallion depicting an East Asian landscape — a thatched pavilion, a figure in a sailing boat with fishing net, and mountains beyond — with carved foliage along the front edge of the lid.
