Description
Pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain baluster vases with a crackle glaze ground, painted in underglaze cobalt with robed figures, one holding a fan, in a garden setting beneath pine branches. Iron-brown relief bands encircle the flared neck and splayed foot, the latter molded with a stylized wave pattern. Each underside bears a square seal mark in sepia.
