Description
A pair of cloisonné enamel baluster vases with flared gilt-metal rims and stepped pedestal feet. Each is decorated with displaying peacocks set within lobed cartouches on a sky-blue ground, framed by yellow and red palmettes, lotus blossoms, and scrolling foliage, with paired birds encircling the shoulder and a black-ground band of flowering vines around the foot.
