Description
A 2012 Starcraft Comet 1224 folding pop-up camping trailer on a single axle, rated by the manufacturer's floorplan to sleep up to eight across two fold-out bed ends and a convertible U-shaped dinette/sofa. The hard fold-down roof and canvas tent ends collapse to a low towing profile suited to SUV and light-truck towing and to compact storage. The body is white with brown and green decal striping, aluminum diamond-plate lower panels front and rear, and "Starcraft," "Comet," and "1224" badging. The A-frame carries a propane tank, battery box, coupler with jack, and safety chains, with a rear-mounted spare tire. The galley includes a sink, laminate countertops, wood-tone cabinetry, and a portable two-burner cooktop; a freestanding pedestal table stows when not in use. Additional equipment includes a keyed entry door with screen, a lockable exterior storage compartment, a shore-power inlet, roof vent, awning rail, and corner stabilizer jacks. The data plate indicates an August 2011 build. - New MSRP (2012 Comet 1224): $12,779.
