Description
Bronze-tone commemorative medallion housed in a silk brocade presentation box with red velvet interior and ribbon lift tab. The obverse depicts the Great Wall of China with Chinese characters above; the reverse bears a circular seal inscribed "BEIJING UNIVERSITY OF IRON AND STEEL TECHNOLOGY" around a central industrial emblem dated "1952". Issued under the institution's pre-1988 name, before it was renamed University of Science and Technology Beijing.
