Description
A Scott's plate block stamp album, specifically designed for collecting United States twentieth century commemorative plate blocks. Published by Scott Publications, these albums are highly regarded in the philatelic community for organizing and protecting stamp collections. It contains specialized pages with illustrated spaces for mounting U.S. commemorative and air post plate blocks, which are groups of stamps that include the plate number in the margin. The pages are typically 10" x 11.5" and made of heavyweight card stock. They are designed to fit either traditional 2-post or modern 3-ring Scott Specialty binders. Scott Specialty albums, often called "Green albums" due to their characteristic binder color, were first introduced in 1933. Includes original collected stamps. 12"L Good condition.
